This course has been updated for 2025 to include recent changes to employment
laws and regulations.
This course is designed for individuals who would like to review business law issues that
are important for accountants. We will review wage and hour laws, discrimination issues,
American’s with Disabilities Act Issues (Including access to websites), Family Medical Leave
Act Issues, privacy issues, social media issues, bring your own device issues, hiring issues,
background check issues, new overtime requirements, new independent contractor rules,
FTC noncompete proposal, and other legal issues accountants should be aware of. NOTE:
